Rupert and the Mulp Gulper is the 26th episode of Rupert and the 13th episode of season 2.
Rupert and Bill's practical joke to cure Algy's bragging leads to a confrontation with the gigantic, and hungry, Mulp Gulper. The boys find they are the next items on the Gulper's menu.

- This is the last episode directed by Dale Schott. He didn't leave the series, but didn't return as director for the next seasons.
- This is the last episode made with Cel animation.
- Rupert and friends are attending the same carnival that his parents attended when they were dating.
- When the Mulp Gulper asks who the real champion is, the boys point to each other claiming the other two as champion, except Rupert. Rupert only points his finger to Algy (who is claimed to be the champion), while Algy and Bill point their fingers to each other and Rupert.
