Podgy Pig is one of Rupert's chums.
Although greedy and often lazy, Podgy is a good-hearted pal who joins in with the chums in many adventures. His favourite pastime is eating food. His cousin Rosalie appears in some stories.

Podgy is an anthropomorphic pig, usually depicted wearing a tan suit with a red vest, black bowtie, black socks, and brown shoes. Occasionally he also wears a red ascot.

Podgy Pig is a pig with many faults. He has a humungous appetite, and can be lazy, cowardly and self-centred at times. Nevertheless, he is a good-hearted chum and often shows surprising courage. He is good friends with Rupert, Bill and Algy among others, and he has joined in many adventures with his friends.
